Sunday Jan 04, 2026
Sunday Jan 04, 2026
The voice, the hair, the lyrics. If there was a Mount Rushmore of the Rock N Roll Hearthrobs Chris Cornell would be righfully on it with Robert Plant and Jim Morrison amoung others. Another sad one folks as we take our first trip as a podcase into the Pacific Northwest and explore not only the dark moody sounds of Soundgarden but we also discuss Audioslave and the heavy metal melting pot the early 90's was for so may great bands along with some tragic endings. Thelonious and Jesse Discuss - Mac Miller
Wednesday Oct 29, 2025
Wednesday Oct 29, 2025
Mac Miller did not even make it to become a member of the 27 club. Thrust into the limelight at the age of 16 it wasn’t so much the pressure of fame and the next best album. He had the natural talent to make album after album not just for himself but for anyone around him who was down to collaborate. But with some artists Its not the success that's gets them it's the access to excess that make them become prisoners of their own creative drives.

Thelonious and Jesse Discuss Ian Curtis
Wednesday Oct 15, 2025
Wednesday Oct 15, 2025
This is one of the roughest stories in Rock N Roll history. Ian Curtis's story is bleak, beautiful, and far too short. It's hard to call him a front man when he kind of hid from the crowd behind his forearms head staring at the ground. Or he danced to himself oblivious to all around him. Regardless of who he was performing for or who he was performing with the impact of his works his actions his songs are still being felt today. Please enjoy our conversation about Ian Curtis of Joy Division. Below are some links of random stuff we may have mentioned during the podcast. Thank you for listening
