Ed Mena is a great guy and I had the pleasure of just sitting down and chatting with him. We see each other often but it's always at an Open Mic and I never get him all to myself to just rap about comedy.
Ed was the first host to ever call me up to the stage and he's been encouraging me to do the same ever since. We chatted a lot about the local scene. Bombing at open mics and what it's like trying to bring the life back into the room while the dust is still settling from the previous bomb.
